What to do when it is hot and the sun is shining from a cloudless sky? Now, since we are developers, we barricade the windows, turn on the air conditioning and start producing a lot of new and exciting stuff for you!

Sponsor Account
Wouldn’t it be nice if sponsors or other members could just log in and have a certain amount of money they could spend freely? Wouldn’t it be nice if the pool of money could be shared between several people in an organisation? And if members still got their sponsor discounts etc.?
It’s all possible now! We have now made a link between “Gift Cards” and “Members” which means that a gift card can be created and attached to one or more members, who will then receive an additional payment method. Members can then choose to use their funds or simply pay with other means of payment.
Of course, you can rename the gift card, so it’s called “Sponsor Account” instead, but in reality it’s just a gift card that is being used.
It’s free for you to create gift cards and top them up – we only charge the standard ticket fee when a gift card is used.
For existing customers: If you already use the Gift Cards and Members modules, this is already available to you. Simply enable the “Membership Gift Card” feature under “Gift Card” Setup “- or contact us, and we will help you.
Event-report
We have received a lot of positive feedback on our event report, originally published in January 2018. The most important thing was to make it more clearly which channels that generate sales so you can clearly see what was sold in e.g. in the door and how much that was sold through various online channels etc. In the past, we focused more on what was sold and not how.
In order to keep the report concise and clear, live/BACKEND hide the details of each payment method until you click on a row. We think is a good compromise between having a high degree of detail without overcomplicating the overview.
In the POS, this report has also replaced the old cash report, which we are in the progress of phasing out. This new event report has the same data plus a little more and it presents the data much better.
Improved seat maps
The seat map has received a number of improvements and new features to be able to better meet the challenges of theaters and cinemas among other. The most significant improvements are:
- Differentiated prices: You can now divide seats into price groups and give each group their own color and price. That way, the front row in a theater can be more expensive than the back rows.
- New Jacket-seat algorithm: We have implemented a new and unique solution to the single-seat-hole problem, that is, customers leaving 1 hole in the seat map that is hard to sell. The solution provides high flexibility for the end customer, but still ensures that the guests are “packed” so the number of single-seat holes can be avoided.
- Backend administration: Multiple enhancements have been implemented in the backend so you can manage prices, pricing groups and open and close places easily.
“Remember me”
we can now let the customer’s own browser remember all relevant information. It is a small but quite significant improvement in the purchase flow for your most loyal customers. The information is stored on the customer’s own computer or phone for up to 90 days, which is fully in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
This works for members as well as regular guests.
… And much more
Furthermore at lot of small changes have been made such as:
- Copy events: You can now copy an event including all fields
- Facebook control: You can now control whether you want Facebook-login for members and how prominent it shall be.
- Shop for addtional purchases on sold-out events (before + after): Until now the shop for additional purchases (option to upgrade ticket) closed at the same time the ticket sales closed. Now purchases can also be made after the ticket sales has closed.
- Neat looking prices in POS: For example, if you have a fixed 50% discount on staff, but want neat looking prices, POS can now automatically round off the prices to the next 5s or 10s.
- Member prices in POS: Previously you had to choose a member to see a specific member price. Now prices are shown for specific member types directly in POS.
- Managing “Free” Label in the Purchase Flow: Some choose to make the entry fee free, but in turn force customers to make at least one additional option and thereby give the ticket value. The price was previously shown as being “Free”, which was misleading – you can therefore now choose whether to remove this “Free” label.
We have also made various bug fixes in 13 different modules.
